AB - <p>En la actualidad y en su contexto nacional e internacional, las empresas se desarrollan y compiten constantemente. Con esta investigación, pretendemos realizar un estudio sobre la evaluación por competencias, con el objetivo de identificar conocimientos, habilidades, destrezas, actitudes y otras que debe reunir el talento humano que pretendemos contratar en las empresas hoteleras, para enfrentar los desafíos presentes y futuros y al mismo tiempo beneficiarnos de una nueva perspectiva, aumentando e incrementando las habilidades que agregan valor al servicio de calidad que ofrecen las mismas, en la Ciudad de Panamá. Es esencial organizar acciones exitosas que los lleven a examinar la importancia de cuidar de aquellos que serán nombrados para ocupar un puesto estratégico, sobre todo para identificar las competencias esenciales, el potencial y las capacidades que promoverán el alcance de manera exitosa de las metas, objetivos, tácticas y estrategia empresarial.</p>
