This article presents the results of the impact of the “World of Blocks” OVA as an innovative pedagogical strategy for teaching programming to fifth-grade students at the Carmen Cielo Herrera Ortiz General Basic Education Center. The educational software was developed using the ADDIE model and the Exelearning platform. A quantitative approach was adopted, employing a single-group pre-experimental design and a post-test in a non-probabilistic sample of 34 students. Data was collected through a digital questionnaire with closed-ended questions on a Likert scale, with a validity and reliability coefficient of 0.70 using Cronbach’s Alpha. The descriptive analysis revealed students rated the OVA's impact as medium to high, highlighting its role in integrating technology into classrooms and contributing to the gradual reduction of the digital divide in vulnerable communities.
