In Panama, economic growth, tax regulations and digital transformation, among other factors, have driven the search for strategies for efficient and effective financial management. There are few publications that link the adoption of accounting software for the efficient management of financial statements with the strengthening of basic technical competencies, specific organizational competencies, as well as digital transversal competencies in the human resources that make use of these computer programs; however, there are few publications that document the use and management of accounting applications in fiscal management.
