Abstract

A checklist of Nymphalidae butterflies collected in Galeta Island Protected Landscape (GIPL) is presented and deposited at the Entomological Collection of the School of Biology of the Regional University Center of Colon. The Galeta Island Protected Landscape reports 31 genders and 41 species and subspecies. Pictures of the most representative species of the location are presented as an incentive for the ecotourism development and environmental education of the GIPL.
