To carry out this research, the participation of the inhabitants of the communities described in the scope of this research was required: the province of Panama Oeste, districts of Arraiján, La Chorrera, Capira and San Carlos, specifically in the communities most affected by the increase in the basic basket in the townships of Puerto Caimito. El Coco, Amador, El Arado, Playa Leona, Santa Rita, Burunga, Veracruz and San Carlos.
